Enlivening a popular subject…

Swans are probably the most photographed birds in the UK. They have a habit of keeping fairly still and can be found in public places up and down the country.  As such they’re actually difficult to photograph.  It’s not hard to get a nice image of a swan, but I often won’t even take my camera out as I’ll find myself discarding most of my shots as they don’t capture something unique.  I was very happy with my last trip to the local marsh. After finding a spot behind the reeds, I knew the shot I was aiming for and executed it first time.
